When we went to Bowling Green for Ben's graduation we also went to Smith's Grove to Wallace's farm for the day. We spent the morning at the pond so the kiddos could see the catfish, which by the way are very ugly fish. Then we went to see the horses and go for a ride. The whole day was a lot of fun and we all had a blast. Matt had so much fun with Wallace's grandkids and Alyssa had fun with all the new experiences.

Alyssa this Memorial Day Weekend
We went to my mom's this weekend for my brother's graduation and we were playing around in the backyard. She has lots of flowers and Alyssa found her rose bush and picked a flower off of it. She walked all around the backyard holding and smelling that flower until she sat down in this chair and I started taking pictures. Then she destroyed the flower and was upset when all the petals were gone.

POPSICLE TIME!!
Alyssa loves popsicles. We usually let her have one while she's taking a bath... it's less mess cause she's already in the tub. Her favorite ones, so far, have been the orange ones.

Alyssa's First Pageant
My big girl, Alyssa, was in her first pageant this past weekend. She was a contestant in the Good Ole Days Festival here in Woodbury, TN. We took pictures of her whole event and the day leading up to her big DEBUT!
Here we are at the house getting ready.
Here she is waiting on the stage for the results. She sat pretty good, considering they had to wait so long.
Here is her and dad accepting her third runner up award!
Here is a picture of Alyssa with her daddy. He was such a proud dad! She loves her trophy.
Alyssa's days at the ballfield.
These are Alyssa's days at the ballfield while brother is practicing or playing a ball game. She enjoys it and everyone always says hello to her. She loves the attention. This particular day was extremely windy, but that didn't keep her from picking flowers and loving on her daddy.
Baseball season is here!!
This is Matt's first year on a coach pitch team. He's actually suppose to have played another year of t-ball, but Steven and I decided to bump him up to coach pitch thinking he would benefit more from it. This is his team. He's having such a blast and we are so glad that we did decide to move him up.
I'll try to get some more pictures up from his baseball season, but it's hard taking pictures and keeping up with Alyssa at the same time.

The Chattanooga Aquarium
Matt's first grade class at West Side went to the aquarium in Chattanooga, TN. We had a blast. Steven and I both took off of work so that we could go with him on his trip. It was a way for us to do something fun with him while Alyssa went to daycare for the day. We don't ever do that and we wanted just some one on one with him. It was a great day.
Here was standing next to a big window with the river and bridge in the background.
This was Matt's favorite part. Him and Steven are looking into a tank that was filled with huge sharks. Matt loves the sharks.
Matt wanted a picture of the alligators (or maybe they're crocodiles) I don't know the difference.
Here is a picture of a sting ray. It kept coming right up to us.
Anyways, we had a lot of fun.
