Matt's Birthday
How Did I Miss..??..
Matt learning how to swim. He's been going to the community pool once a week with his daycare and sometime this summer he learned how to swim. He tells me this past Monday that he wants me to come watch him take the "deep sea dive test". It's where you swim across the deep end with NO armies and then if you pass you get to go to the deep end and jump off the boards. Well, since I was off this week with the car wreck I went to watch him take the test. He passed and we are so proud and he's so proud of himself.
Haven't Blogged in Awhile...
Well, things around here have been upside down....literally, I flipped the truck the other day on my way to work, and luckily walked away with only scratches and soreness (with some bruises). Here is the bridge I flipped off of. They say I landed 50 feet down on the passenger side of the Tahoe.

Laundry Time!
Ok, so yes, if you're wondering this is a picture of our dryer. I was in the process of starting the laundry (the all day project) when the kiddos decided they were going to use the dryer as a spaceship. Who's idea was that, well it definately wasn't Alyssa's... anyways, I couldn't figure out where they were. I could hear them laughing and she was screaming, but I couldn't figure it out, until I walked into the laundry room and then I knew right away so I went to get the camera.

BEECH BEND
We were wanting to spend one whole day with Matt so we decided to take him to Beech Bend. I hadn't been since I was a kid and didn't remember any of the rides and Steven and Matt had never been. We took Alyssa and she spent the day with my mom and I'm glad because she it wouldn't have been as much fun and so relaxing with her. Plus, we were able to have quality time with Matt, which was much needed.
A FaMiLy LiFe UpDaTe...
Ok, I have pictures to put on, but first I wanted to write a small blog about life. For those of you who don't know, Steven has worked at Toys R Us for as long as I've known him and today is his last day there. He has put in many long days and Christmas' where we've hardly seen him because he has to work long days.. well, he's moving out of retail. He starts at TSC next Monday and he's extremely excited. He will be working in the headquarters in Brentwood.
Anyways, wish us luck. It's a big step for our family for him to be changing his career, but in the long run it'll be worth it. We are thinking positive and he's definately excited.
