BEECH BEND

We were wanting to spend one whole day with Matt so we decided to take him to Beech Bend. I hadn't been since I was a kid and didn't remember any of the rides and Steven and Matt had never been. We took Alyssa and she spent the day with my mom and I'm glad because she it wouldn't have been as much fun and so relaxing with her. Plus, we were able to have quality time with Matt, which was much needed.

Ok, so these pictures were us goofing off before we got on the "Kentucky Rumbler". You can't tell that Matt is nervous. He did really well though and rode ALL the rides.

It is a wooded roller coaster. It was fun but very rough and bumpy.
He doesn't know what to expect.
This was the first drop... look at his face.
Needless to say, he didn't want to ride it again.
He made the comment that he liked the easy roller coasters.

So he rode them ALL...
and loved every minute of it..
Then Steven and him rode a water ride.
They didn't get as wet as we were expecting.

Matt still enjoyed it though.
On to the bumper cars. His first time driving.
checking out the pedal.
WATER SLIDES.. we got to these before the lines got backed up.
What fun that was... a big splash!

Here they are in line for the one that goes upside down.

He had so much fun... We would like to go back before the end of summer.
