Twas The Night Before Easter and Easter Morning...

Well, Here is my Easter post for 2008. We had such a great weekend. Alyssa enjoyed the first Easter where she was able to be mobile. She enjoyed all the egg hunting and just being outside in the beautiful weather. It would've been nice if it'd been warm, but just having the sun out was good. Matt had a blast helping his sister during all the egg hunting and the painting of the eggs.

Alyssa was more interested in watching Matt than putting eggs in her own basket.

Alyssa takes pictures like me... eyes shut!! She was having trouble standing and walking because our lot is a hill and she just wanted to "tumble".

We always dye some eggs. So on Easter Eve we sat down to dye some eggs. Matt always enjoys it and this year we were teaching Alyssa all about it.

We started out with 6 different colors.

What in the world is this mom?
It's like a ball. It rolls and everything.
Dad, what are you doing with my "ball"?
It's red.. This is a cup.. Can I drink this?

Hey, check it out... I got a singing Barney.
Her daddy, open him up.
Mom and Dad are so excited and happy that Alyssa loves Barney...NOT!! She does LOVE him though.. She dances and "moves" when he starts singing. It's so CUTE.

This was a big blue egg that came in Matt's basket. They both had to wear it on their heads. They can be really goofy. It's funny to watch cause Alyssa wants to do everything her brother does. So, she imitates everything. Is that good or bad?
Alyssa didn't know what to think about all the cool stuff.
Matt got a puzzle, we love doing puzzles. Matt has been able to do big puzzles for a long time now. He started being really good around the age of 2.
Brother, don't show me that candy if you're not going to give me some.

Easter Weekend...

The kids had a blast this Easter. Alyssa was doing a great job at putting the eggs in her basket. Matt would put a few in her basket, but he was definately on a mission to fill his to the top.

Alyssa was excited about the egg hunt, but she was cold.
When Matt saw the eggs out front he was so excited.
Wear did my basket go?
Steven was throwing eggs at him.
Matt look that egg has candy in it.
Maybe that egg has candy in it too.
She wouldn't take her eyes off the candy.
Steven had a piece of candy behind the camera, so she looked at that.

Easter dinner at Grandma Angel and Grandpa Scott's house.

Mom, look the Easter bunny came to Grandma's house too.
Alyssa was carrying her favorite book. She was scared of the dog, but finally she loosened up a little. We had an excellent Easter. I still have more pictures to add, but it won't let me put anymore on this post so I'll have to make another one.

Just Another Sunny Day!

So, today we had a blast outside.. We got the bouncer out for Alyssa to play in. She was more interested in hanging out on the outside of it. She enjoyed watching her brother play in it. Matt and Reece had a blast.

She wouldn't get in for anything.

She was all about watching and laughing from the outside.
The boys had so much fun in it. It was nice to see them enjoy the nice day.

They played and played and played some more.

Alyssa still didn't want to get in. She ended up in the garage playing with Matt's dumptrucks.

Finally, she got in... and she loved it. I had trouble getting good pictures though because she was all over the place and couldn't keep her balance.

She loved it though. We all had a blast playing outside today. It was a beautiful day.
