Well, a lot has happened since the last time I wrote a blog. We've made it through the whole summer and fall and on into winter.. Christmas 2010 is knocking on our door. We are home today because of snow and ice. Tomorrow we need to try to make it out to go to work. Matt is still out of school and will probably be out all week.
This year has made us face several obstacles. We finished out Matt's travel baseball with several wins. Steven's mom passed away on May 29 and every holiday since then has been a struggle.
Matt is in fourth grade this year and Alyssa will be old enough for PreK next Fall... wow, how they grow up so fast!!
Steven and I are taking the family to church and we are really enjoying it. We're all growing and this is definitely a good thing.
Next weekend is our annual trip to Knoxville to celebrate Christmas with my family! I hope the weather holds out so we can see everyone. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and I will try to post pictures of our family soon!! Love you all!!

We finally won a tournament.. We played this past weekend in Cane Ridge. The boys have really worked hard and it FINALLY paid off.

We had a wonderful Christmas here at our house. The kids really enjoyed it this year and we decorated the whole house. It was beautiful and amazing all in one!

Steven, Matt, and I... we took the team all the way to the championship and WON!! Go Matt!!
The tournament was double elimination and we hadn't lost any... until the last game, so we had to play again because they had to beat us twice. Thank goodness they didn't beat us. That was our only loss for the whole year 19-1.

This is a picture of the tornado that came through Murfreesboro on Good Friday (2009). We were about 3 blocks away from this hiding in the freezer at Logan's. It took us about 2 hours to get out of Murfreesboro to get home that day because the whole town was in total chaos!

Well we finally got snow.. and a lot of it. I think here in our yard we may have had close to 4 inches. The roads didn't get covered so much and they were clear early, but it took most of the day for the snow to melt away. Some of it on the back deck and close to the house is still there today. We had a blast playing in it. It was nice for it to be the weekend cause neither Steven nor I had to be to work.

Ok, well.. first excuse the mess, but I walked up on Alyssa in my room. Matt was in there watching wrestling and she was hanging out with him. I had just folded laundry and it was in the basket ready to be put away...

Except, Alyssa decided she was going to go through it and try to put as much on as she could. Not to mention, the fact, that what she was putting on was Matt's.

You can see in the floor the stuff that she couldn't fit on. She unfolded everything trying.
She ended up with a sweatshirt and 5 pairs of Matt's underware.

She tried walking to me when she saw me.

Then she tried to put more on and got mad when I made her take it off.
